Aluminum sulfate

Aluminum Sulfate (Iron free)

It is solid, white and brown. It is widely used in industry, commonly as a coagulant in drinking water purification and in the paper industry.

Uses

It is used in water purification and as a pigment mordant in textiles. It is also used as an antiperspirant although, since 2005, the FDA has not recognized it as a moisture absorbent.
