ButylCellosolve (Varsol)

It is a clear, colorless liquid with a sweet, ester-like odor. It is soluble in water at different concentrations, as well as in some organic solvents and mineral oil.

Uses

For the manufacture of nitrocellulosic lacquers and paints, glass cleaners, oven cleaners, degreasers, stain removers, carpet cleaners, dry cleaning, lubricants and electrical fluids. In the textile industry to prevent the formation of stains in printing or dyeing.
