Phosphoric acid

Among other applications, phosphoric acid is used as an ingredient in non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, particularly in cola type; as a conditioning element for the surface of dental enamel, since by demineralizing its surface it creates microretentions in its structure which facilitates the adhesion of dental restoration materials; as a catalyst, in stainless metals, and for phosphates that are used as water softeners, fertilizers, and detergents. Widely used in chemical laboratories in the preparation of buffer or pH regulating solutions.
